Junior Plate Evaporator

The evaporator is designed for continuous evaporation of liquid products in laboratory and pilot plant scale as well as in small scale production.

The evaporator consists of a preheating system comprising two plate heat exchangers, a plate type evaporator, vapour separator and an indirect condenser built as a shell and tube heat exchanger. The evaporator is heated by direct low pressure steam to the evaporator unit. Process condensate and steam condensate are extracted separately by two pumps enabling measure of the evaporation rate accurately.
